1. Purpose & Core Philosophy
HM Domains exists to empower developers, students, and open-source creators with free, high-performance web infrastructure. To protect our root domains' reputation and ensure uninterrupted service for all users, strict acceptable use rules are enforced.
2. Permitted Use Cases ✅
Showcase personal websites, GitHub projects, bio links, and CVs.
Host project docs, tutorials, wikis, API references, and changelogs.
Connect staging APIs, webhook listeners, backend servers, and bot hooks.
Deploy proof-of-concepts, indie projects, MVPs, and beta previews.
3. Strictly Prohibited Activities 🚫
Zero Tolerance Policy for Malicious Activity:
- Phishing & Social Engineering: Fake login pages, bank impersonation, credential harvesting, or brand spoofing.
- Malware & Exploits: Distributing malicious executables, trojans, droppers, viruses, or exploit kits.
- Spam & Scams: Unsolicited email campaigns, pyramid schemes, or crypto drainers.
- Botnets & DDoS: Command and control (C2) servers, bot networks, or attack vectors.
- Illegal or Infringing Content: Copyright piracy, unlicensed streams, or illegal media.
4. Automated Monitoring & Enforcement
Our systems interface with global threat intelligence feeds and security vendors. If any domain is flagged for malicious activity:
- The offending domain will be immediately suspended and DNS records purged across Cloudflare Anycast edge.
- The associated GitHub account will be permanently banned from the registry.
- Incident logs may be forwarded to law enforcement or domain registrars where required by law.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter any domain hosted on HM Domains that violates this policy, please report it immediately to our security team via our official GitHub repository.
