Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering an account on, or claiming a subdomain through HM Domains ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you are not authorized to use the platform.

2. Eligibility & GitHub Authentication

HM Domains is designed for developers, creators, and open-source contributors. To prevent automated bot abuse and domain squatting, you must authenticate using a valid GitHub account. You agree that:

• You will maintain the security and confidentiality of your GitHub credentials.
• You will star the official repository as required for developer account verification.
• You are solely responsible for all DNS records, traffic, and content published under your claimed subdomains.

3. Subdomain Ownership & Allocation

Subdomains provided by HM Domains are free, revocable licenses for developer and project use. HM Domains retains root domain ownership and reserves the right to reclaim, modify, or reallocate any subdomain handle that violates our policies or remains abandoned.

Each verified user is granted up to the maximum allocated subdomain slots defined in the platform configuration. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent slot limits is strictly prohibited.

4. Prohibited Content & Abuse

You agree not to configure DNS records pointing to any services or hosting content involving:

• Phishing, credential harvesting, malware, spyware, or ransomware distribution.
• Trademark infringement, brand impersonation, or deceptive domains.
• Unsolicited bulk spam, botnet command and control (C2), or network attacks (DDoS).
• Illegal, violent, or sexually explicit material.

5. Service Availability & Termination

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we utilize Cloudflare's Anycast global DNS infrastructure with high availability targets, we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete any subdomain or user account immediately without prior notice upon receipt of valid abuse reports or legal complaints.

To report abuse, phishing, or policy violations, please open an issue or security report on our official repository or contact the project maintainer.
